CREATE FROM THE SOURCE

ONE RETREATS

December 3 to 6, 2026

logosimbolo blanco

This retreat is an exploration of different ways of creating.

For four days you will live experiences of movement, painting, ceramics, photography, video, collective creation, nature, writing and connection with the senses.

Each experience is designed to open a different way of observing, thinking, feeling and relating to the creative process.

Because many times blocks appear because we are used to always creating from the same place and here we want to open your mind to different ways of relating to your body, your surroundings and life.

That’s why, during the retreat you will experiment with tools that can help you:

* trust your intuition more;
* let go of the fear of making mistakes;
* find new ideas;
* look at problems from other perspectives;
* better communicate what you want to express;
* create with other people;
* inhabit your spaces in a different way;
* recognize new sources of inspiration;
* and bring creative thinking to your work, your projects and your everyday life.

Each experience will be an invitation to try a new way of relating to creation.

And at the end of each day, you will have a space to recognize what you discovered and how you could take it with you beyond the retreat.

CREATE FROM THE SOURCE

THURSDAY - ARRIVE, LET GO AND CONNECT WITH MATTER

You’ll arrive at One Santuario and have a first space to recognize the place you’ll inhabit during these days.

Then you’ll receive an amulet and a guide that will accompany you throughout the entire retreat. Each experience will be connected to these tools, which will work as a guiding thread to observe, record, and integrate whatever arises during the journey.

We’ll open the retreat with an intention circle and, shortly after, we’ll face one of the first questions of the creative process:

What happens when we stop controlling?

Through a sensory experience of creating without seeing, you’ll work with different materials, textures, and sounds to express yourself without looking at the result and without trying to make your work “turn out well”.

Afterwards we’ll integrate what was lived and explore what happens when we trust intuition more than control.

Then we’ll move to the river to connect with matter through the body and the senses. We’ll work with clay, earth, water, and movement in an experience of intuitive creation and direct contact with nature.

After a quiet dinner, we’ll close the day around the fire with writing and intention, integrating what shifted during this first day.

WHAT YOU TAKE FROM THIS DAY

A new relationship with control, intuition, and error.

A tool to face projects, decisions, or ideas without needing to have everything figured out before you begin.

Learning to start without knowing exactly how it will end.

FRIDAY - ACTIVATE CREATIVITY IN EVERY SENSE

We’ll start the day with a body lab to explore the body as a creative channel.

It will be a different experience from the movement practices we know. It won’t be yoga or dance. It will be an invitation to let yourself be surprised and discover new ways of inhabiting your body, your energy, and your capacity for expression.

Afterwards we’ll gather around a creative brunch to explore how creativity can be part of everyday life: the way we inhabit our spaces, work, eat, organize our routines, and make decisions.

We’ll continue with an experience on creating with purpose, in which we’ll use different symbols and tools to connect with what is present in your life right now and translate it through painting and acrylic.

In the afternoon we’ll walk through the land to observe, listen, and recognize the place around us. Nature will be our source of inspiration and we’ll learn to relate to it with presence and respect.

From what we find and receive along this walk, we’ll have a botanical creation experience connected to art and nature. One of the retreat experiences we prefer to keep as a surprise.

At the end of the day, we’ll have an introductory temazcal experience accompanied by songs, fire, plants, and water. A space to cleanse, rest, and remember that creating also requires inner space to receive.

We’ll close the night around the bonfire, with journaling, drawing, and cacao, plus a surprise experience designed to awaken the senses and open new creative possibilities.

WHAT YOU TAKE FROM THIS DAY

A broader view of where creativity can exist.

Learning to find inspiration in everyday life, in the environment, and in the senses.

New ways to generate ideas when you feel blocked or like you’re always solving things the same way.

SATURDAY - EXPRESS, SHARE AND CREATE IN COMMUNITY

We’ll begin with a yoga and movement practice to integrate, through the body, everything we’ve lived up to this moment.

Afterwards we’ll take a silent walk. A space to listen to ourselves, observe, and put into words what has been emerging during the retreat.

In the afternoon we’ll enter a space of collective creation.

Here we’ll stop thinking of the work as something individual and explore what happens when we create with other people. When we receive ideas, incorporate perspectives, and allow our process to meet others’.

An experience to let go of control again and discover that we can also create in community.

At the end of the afternoon we’ll explore photography and video as tools for expression and communication. You’ll learn basic concepts about light and using your phone camera to create images and videos that help you communicate your projects, your lifestyle, or simply record what you want to keep.

The night will be a space to share what we’ve created, screen our pieces, and celebrate the process through fire, music, dance, and movement.

WHAT YOU TAKE AWAY FROM THIS DAY

Tools to communicate your ideas better.

The possibility of observing from other perspectives and receiving input from others without feeling that it threatens your own vision.

A new understanding of collective creation, teamwork, and building ideas together with other people.

SUNDAY - TRANSFORM AND INTEGRATE

solsticio-52.jpeg

We’ll begin the last day with a light breakfast and head to Har’atora, our space in the village.

There we’ll return to the ceramic pieces made at the start of the retreat, to take them to the fire and complete their transformation.

During this time we’ll have deep conversations around creativity, creative energy, ancient memories, and ancestral wisdom, joined by special guests.

The piece that began as raw matter will pass through the fire and become something new: a work you can take with you as a tangible memory of this process.

We’ll close with a final brunch and an integration circle to share what we lived, acknowledge what each person takes with them, and make space for what will keep creating after the retreat.

WHAT YOU TAKE FROM THIS DAY

A way of understanding that processes need time.

That not everything you create has to be finished right away.

And that often an idea, a project, or a part of your life needs to move through different stages before becoming what it can be.

BEYOND RETIREMENT

The idea is that each tool you explore can become an option you can return to when you face a block, a decision, a new project, or a way of doing things that is no longer working for you.

Maybe you’ll learn to look at a problem from another angle.

Maybe you’ll find a new way to communicate an idea.

Maybe you’ll allow yourself to start something without knowing exactly how it will end.

Maybe you’ll learn to trust someone else within a creative process.

Maybe you’ll discover that inspiration isn’t always far away.

- Sometimes it’s in the body.

- In a conversation.

- In a texture.

- On a walk.

- In a question.

In the possibility of doing something in a way you had never tried.

Creating from the source is taking with you new ways of seeing so you can create new ways of doing.

GUIDES FOR THIS GATHERING

ONE RETREATS

December 3 to 6, 2026

img_4558.jpeg

Juli moves between art, photography, dance, and the earth. Her work is born from intention as a language to open spaces where people can meet their own creative vision.

She designs experiences and retreats that invite us to look at the world and ourselves from different perspectives, through tools that help create new channels and paths to conceive and bring dreams to life or, simply, to inhabit the earth in a more harmonious way, from joy, pleasure, and art.

She believes that what lives in her is the same that lives in every person: a vital force that beats to create, travel, and live.

That we deserve what we dream. That our desires exist for a reason and that those who have the privilege of recognizing them can also open the way so others discover that possibility within themselves.

In Palomino, between the sea and the Sierra Nevada, she built a physical space called Har’atora to live, create, and share. A place where experimentation, art, and nature intertwine to foster experiences in which connection grows deeper with oneself, with others, and with everything that surrounds and sustains us.
